The North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries (NCDMF) is pleased to provide anglers, fishery managers,
and the public a new Internet based electronic reporting system.
The Coastal Recreational Electronic Reporting System provides
online tools for anglers to record and track their catches through the online Angler Journal as well as provide an alternative reporting
mechanism for surveys conducted by the NCDMF's Coastal Angling Program (CAP). Please give the Coastal Angling Journal a try
and let us know if we can make it better.
The new system will allow NCDMF to evaluate Internet reporting as a means to enhance future data collection efforts. This reporting tool is
supported in part by funds provided from the sale of Coastal Recreational Fishing Licenses.
